We are seeking a dedicated fully qualified Electrician to join our team at HMP Send, a closed adult female prison. Join a supportive and driven family that works Monday to Friday, creating a safe and nurturing environment.
HMP Send functions like a self‑contained town, relying on many dedicated staff. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team we drive smooth and safe operations that impact prisoners, staff, visitors, families and the wider community.
As an Electrician, you will work alongside experienced colleagues from plumbing, carpentry, painting, cleaning and administration, all committed to providing a safe and secure environment.

Qualifications
* Certificate in BS7671:2018 (18th edition)
* Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services (City & Guilds/EAL), including NVQs and competency assessments (AM2/AM2S) such as 2367 or 2357
* Two years’ experience as a fully qualified electrician
* Experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems
* Good working knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance operations
* Good Health & Safety knowledge
* Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
