Responsibilities of this role:
* To co-ordinate and chair Initial Child Protection conferences, and Review conferences and Children Looked After Reviews held under Sefton LSCB Safeguarding Procedure.
* To ensure that all conference and complex child in need minutes are of a high standard and that children and their families can contribute to the decision-making process as fully as possible.
* To promote the highest possible standards of professional practice, and to ensure a multi-agency approach to decision making in complex child in need meetings and child protection conferences.
* To deputise for the Safeguarding Manager, in matters relating to Safeguarding and Child Protection and Children Looked After by the Local Authority.
* To assist in the collation and analysis of data emanating from conference and review material.
* To maintain appropriate records and to comply with required administrative procedures.
Requirements of this role:
1. Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
