Key Information
* Competitive pay: £14.82 per hour
* Permanent, stable employment
* Work Pattern:
* Working hours are 05:45am-17:45pm rotational
Week 1: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun
Week 2: Wed, Thurs
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and transfer records/documents from farms to factory systems.
* Ensure welfare checks are completed and records maintained for each trailer.
* Verify all computer records for accuracy and completion.
* Maintain the flow of trailers within the factory to support production.
* Report breakdowns, issues, or discrepancies promptly.
* Ensure all trailers are weighed in/out and records align.
* Liaise with Process 1 managers on bird numbers and intake scheduling.
* Oversee unloading of birds, ensuring high welfare standards.
* Follow biosecurity and hygiene protocols at all times.
* Contribute to a safe working environment and uphold environmental standards.
* Support housekeeping of yard and lairage areas.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
* Take reasonable care for the safety of yourself and others.
* Follow company Health & Safety procedures and wear protective equipment.
* Report incidents, hazards, or unsafe practices immediately.
* Promote safe systems of work and a culture of compliance.
Essential
What we are looking for
* Ability to read and understand English.
* Good numeracy and literacy skills.
* Manual dexterity and ability to work under pressure.
* Team player with good communication skills.
* Computer literate.
Desirable
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety standards.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Food factory or poultry experience.
