Liberty has an exciting opportunity for a Planned Works Contract Manager to join our team, based in Salford, working on Eccles New Road Planned Works Contracts in the Wirral area. We now have an opportunity for a Planned Works Contract Manager to liaise across a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the commercial delivery of operational repairs and contracts.
Key responsibilities for this Planned Works Contract Manager role include:
1. Leading a team of Site Managers and Assistant Site Managers.
2. Managing a multi-disciplinary team of trade operatives, agency workers, apprentices, sub-contractors, and contracts to maximize profitability.
3. Ensuring systems are in place to guarantee the highest quality workmanship by the team delivering repairs and planned works services.
4. Ensuring the delivery of an efficient, cost-effective, customer-focused operational repairs service covering all maintenance activities.
5. Managing financial budgets for each contract.
6. Assisting in implementing processes for continuous improvement of responsive repairs, voids, and planned service activities.
7. Deputising for the Regional Director when necessary.
Ideal candidate qualifications and experience:
1. Comprehensive experience in building disciplines, including inspection of repairs, measurements, specifications, and post-inspections, preferably within social housing.
2. Recognized first aid qualification.
3. Working knowledge of QL, Open Contractor, and ASSURE (desirable).
4. Appropriate building qualification at HNC level or equivalent.
5. Up-to-date SMSTS and IOSH qualifications (essential).
