🧡 Female Advanced Support Worker – Kendal (Bank/Casual)
We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Advanced Support Worker to join our team in Kendal, supporting a lady in her home and community. She lives independently in a downstairs flat and requires 24-hour support to live a fulfilling and empowered life.
👩🦽 About the Person You’ll Support
17. 📝 Communicates using pen & paper or a Lite Writer
18. 🎵 Loves music, YouTube (especially cat videos!), shopping, and coffee shops
19. 🚌 Enjoys exploring new places by bus or train
20. 🐱 Big fan of cats and a good giggle
21. 🏞️ Loves trips to the park (especially the swings!)
22. 💊 Uses a PEG regime for medication (training provided)
23. ♿ Uses a wheelchair in the community
Key Traits Needed:

30. 🧩 Have experience with mental health, autism, sensory communication, and physical health needs

🕒 Shift Pattern & Hours
34. 📅 Bank/Casual shifts
35. 🌇 Shifts: 10:00am–10:00pm followed by a sleepover
36. 🌅 Morning shift: starts at 7:30am after sleepover
📚 Training & Development
We’ll support your growth with specialist training in:
37. ✅ Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
38. ✅ Makaton
39. ✅ Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS)
40. ✅ PEG feeding
