Responsibilities: We lead the design and delivery of infrastructure projects from initial planning through implementation and handover. We drive cloud and Microsoft 365 projects, including migrations, tenant configuration, identity integration, and security enhancements. We engineer and optimise hybrid infrastructure environments that combine on-prem VMware platforms with cloud services. We deliver platform improvements and transformation work across compute, storage, networking, and identity. We act as a senior technical lead on projects, making key design decisions and ensuring best practice engineering standards. We design and implement secure infrastructure solutions such as firewalls, VPNs, conditional access, endpoint security, and Zero Trust controls. We lead infrastructure upgrade and lifecycle initiatives, including major version upgrades, migrations, and re-platforming activities. We contribute to ISO 27001 compliance projects, including control implementation, gap analysis, and audit readiness.
