About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Nursery Manager to lead a well-established, warm, and nurturing early years setting in North Liverpool. This is a hands-on leadership role with real autonomy, responsibility, and the opportunity to shape a positive, supportive environment for both children and staff.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality early years provision, managing a passionate team, and ensuring excellent outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a cohesive team to deliver outstanding practice
* Drive continuous improvement, quality, and standards across all rooms
* Build strong relationships with parents and the local community
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and statutory requirements
* Maintain excellent communication and support staff wellbeing
* Champion the nursery’s ethos of calm, nurturing, high-quality care
About the Setting
This welcoming nursery is rooted in a ‘home from home’ approach, committed to providing a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment where children thrive and families feel supported. It has been serving the local community for many years with a stable and dedicated team.
* Children on roll: Approx. 80 across 4 rooms
* Team size: Around 18 staff
* Free on-site parking and easily accessible via local bus links
* Ofsted rates the setting as Good, highlighting quality teaching, leadership and personal development.
The environment promotes both indoor and outdoor learning, encouraging children’s curiosity, exploration and confidence as they grow.
Who We Are Looking For
You will be an experienced early years leader with:
* Proven nursery management experience
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS and early years best practice
* Excellent leadership and people management skills
* The ability to lead with calm confidence and emotional intelligence
* A passion for nurturing children’s development and staff professional growth
