Locum Consultant Radiologist – Paediatric Imaging

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Sherwood Forest Hospitals are seeking a Fixed Term Locum Consultant General Radiologist with a subspecialist interest in Paediatric Imaging. The role involves specialist reporting for acute and elective paediatric cases and working across both sites.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist reporting for acute and elective paediatric cases.
* Share general reporting workload with colleagues.
* Lead and develop paediatric acute services.
* Collaborate on clinical quality improvement projects.
Qualifications
* MBBS / MBBCh and FRCR.
* Paediatric Imaging sub‑specialist training.
* Full GMC registration with a licence to practice at time of application.
* Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register.
* Formal teaching qualifications.
* Formal NHS leadership / management training.
Experience
* Clinical training equivalent to a UK CCT in general radiology.
* Independent reporting in paediatric sonography and plain film.
* Experience supervising undergraduate and postgraduate residents.
* Experience in a similar post and clinical leadership training.
* Basic IT skills and use of RIS and PACS.
* Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate caring attitude toward patients.
Contract
Fixed term – 12 months
Full‑time
Salary: £113,565 to £150,569 a year (dependent on experience)
