Community Pharmacist
About the Role
We are looking for a qualified Community Pharmacist to join a busy and friendly pharmacy team. The successful candidate must be confident working independently and able to dispense medication without supervision while providing excellent patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities
* Dispense prescription medication accurately and safely.
* Carry out prescription checks to ensure patient safety.
* Provide advice to patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and treatment plans.
* Assist patients with over-the-counter medication and minor health concerns.
* Work closely with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
* Support and guide pharmacy staff when required.
* Ensure all pharmacy procedures and health & safety regulations are followed.
* Manage medication stock and ensure medicines are stored correctly, including controlled drugs.
* Deliver professional and friendly customer service at all times.
Requirements
* Current GPHC registration.
* Qualified Pharmacist.
* Previous community pharmacy experience preferred.
* Able to work independently and dispense medication without supervision.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Professional, reliable, and patient-focused approach.
* Ability to work well within a team and in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
* Previous UK pharmacy experience.
* Experience using pharmacy management systems.
* Experience working in busy community pharmacy settings.
