Up to 5% for training and development

4 Crew, 3 Shifts per week (days/nights rotation, Mon - Sat)

Job Purpose
As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for completing planned and reactive maintenance activities to ensure a high level of uptime is achieved on a wide range of equipment throughout the facility.
What Skills/Experience You Will Have
* A recognised apprenticeship in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline, an ONC, BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance or Engineering equivalent qualification
* Maintenance and fault-finding experience in a manufacturing environment
* An interest in problem solving and passion to learn
* Highly motivated with a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and be comfortable to work independently
Top Candidates Will Also Have
* Experience with PLCs
* NEBOSH/IOSH Qualification or evidence of safety improvement activities
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
* Completing planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown maintenance on:
* Automated Metal Cutting Equipment including Laser and Plasma
* Automated Paint Plant
* Robotic Welding Systems
* Welding equipment
* Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
* Electronic Torque equipment
* Automated Moving Lines/AGVs
* Hydraulic Presses
* Overhead and Semi Goliath Cranes
* Completing Dynamic Risk Assessments along with adhering to the company’s Health and Safety policy
* Utilising the Computerised Maintenance Management System (SAP PM, Agility etc) to review previous breakdown data and record actions taken on breakdown recoveries
* Diagnosing PLC concerns and implementing program changes
* Complete training and further learning as required
* Breakdown root cause identification and countermeasure implementation
