Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. Responsibilities
* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
* Diagnose faults accurately using specialised tools and diagnostic software.
* Repair or replace faulty components to minimise downtime.
* Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
* Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery.
* Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with other team members to optimise maintenance procedures.
* Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimise operational disruptions.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical role.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
* Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
* Proficient in using diagnostic tools and hand/power tools safely.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are desirable.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
