We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our dynamic team in the culinary field. Responsibilities
* Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of experienced chefs
* Participate in food production processes while adhering to food safety standards
* Support team management by helping supervise kitchen operations and staff during shifts
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health regulations
* Learn various cooking techniques and recipes to enhance culinary skills
* Contribute to menu planning and development by providing input based on culinary trends
* Engage with customers when necessary, delivering exceptional hospitality and service
Qualifications
* Previous kitchen experience or culinary training is advantageous but not essential
* Supervising experience in any capacity is beneficial for team management roles
* Familiarity with food production processes and food safety regulations
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide team members
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective teamwork
* A genuine interest in cooking, hospitality, and the restaurant industry
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
