Youth Support Worker
Location: Caerphilly
Hours: Part-Time | Term Time Only
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, 08:30 – 15:00
Pay: £110 per day

The Role
As a Youth Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in creating a calm, focused, and positive learning environment. You’ll combine leadership, mentoring, and behaviour support to help students stay engaged and on track.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering pre-prepared lessons (no planning required)
* Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom focus
* Supporting students who need additional structure, guidance, or encouragement
* Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams to support wellbeing and behaviour
* Acting as a positive role model, promoting teamwork, respect, and resilience

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Confident, assertive, and able to command attention
* A natural leader who builds positive relationships with young people
* Calm under pressure and quick-thinking in challenging situations
* Energetic, adaptable, and resilient
* Experienced in (or keen to gain experience in) youth work, sport, coaching, or behaviour support
* DBS-checked, or willing to apply
If you’ve led sports teams, coached young people, or worked in high-energy environments — you already have the skills we’re looking for.
