Join Surrey and Sussex Police in this part‑time role within the Estates and Facilities Management unit. The successful candidate will be based in Brighton (John Street) and will handle a variety of facilities‑management duties across both forces, employed under a single force’s terms.

Role & Key Responsibilities
* Assist and coordinate facilities across the Sussex estate, including purchasing, ordering, and minor repairs.
* Carry out regular site checks, identify issues, and perform minor maintenance or supervise contractors.
* Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation on all sites.
* Deliver proactive building improvement projects such as refurbishments, redevelopments and decommissioning activities.
* Support Estates & Facilities projects alongside local departmental teams.
* Work independently and adapt to changing priorities with excellent planning and communication skills.
Skills & Experience
* Full UK driving licence (Group B) and ability to pass a basic Police driving assessment.
* Strong teamwork and self‑motivation; ability to work remotely under line management.
* Practical experience of minor maintenance (repairs, painting, decorating).
* Facilities‑field experience preferred but not essential.
* Willingness to undertake relevant health and safety training.
* Experience of contributing to team goals and making informed decisions.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
