Role Description
The Test Lab Technician/Engineer position is a full-time, on-site role located in Wilnecote, Tamworth, UK. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, conducting quality control tests, and performing analytical evaluations. The role requires managing laboratory processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high standards in product testing and service delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining rigorous quality and environmental standards in support of telecommunications operations.
Qualifications
* Proficiency with laboratory equipment and tools
* Strong laboratory skills, including sample preparation and analysis
* Experience in quality control processes and procedures
* Well-developed analytical skills to evaluate and interpret test results
* Knowledge in laboratory operations and practices, and experience as a Laboratory Technician
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent technical certification (preferred)
* Familiarity with telecommunications equipment and standards is a plus
* Commitment to maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations
