Job Description
Assistant Accountant (hybrid) duties:
3. A small amount of transactional duties across both the sales and purchase ledger (processing invoices etc.)
4. Quarterly VAT returns
5. Assisting with audit
6. Month end closure (bank reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments etc.)
7. Trial balance sheet
8. Ad-hoc duties
The Successful Applicant
Assistant Accountant (hybrid) criteria:
9. Previous experience in an educational establishment would be ideal but NOT essential
10. Finance experience in a similar role
11. Intermediate Excel skills (vlookups, pivots, formulas etc.)
12. Ability to communicate with the wider team
13. Commutable distance to Bristol 1/2 x a week
