Job Description
We are looking for a Production Operative to oversee daily operations across the Cook Room, Pastry Room and De-box Area. You will ensure smooth shift starts, maintain efficient production flow, and support a team of around 10 colleagues. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, solving problems, and keeping operations running to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Kitchen Manager in the smooth running of day‑to‑day kitchen operations.
* Oversee preparation, cooking, and baking activities, ensuring all products meet company standards for quality, consistency, and presentation.
* Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality control procedures.
* Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a supervisory or team‑leader role, ideally within food production or manufacturing.
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
* Basic IT knowledge and familiarity with production systems
