Northern Cancer Voices is an award-winning charity amplifying the voices of people affected by cancer. We’re looking for a volunteer bookkeeper to help us maintain accurate financial records and support our governance processes.

Reliability – able to commit to monthly checks and deadlines.
Good communication skills – to liaise with our Treasurer and Finance Committee.
Experience Needed
Previous experience in bookkeeping or financial administration (charity experience is a bonus).
Proficiency in Excel and basic accounting principles.
Understanding of charity finance requirements and Gift Aid (desirable).
Familiarity with bank reconciliation and transaction verification.

Ratify monthly transactions against receipts and bank statements.
Input data into our Excel-based bookkeeping system.
Ensure records are clear, accurate, and ready for reporting.
