The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Wolverhampton College to recruit enthusiastic and committed English Lecturers to join their growing support team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of learners by providing high‑quality, personalised support across a range of courses and learning needs.
We are seeking lecturers on a Supply FE Bank (sessional) basis. Roles will be offered based on skill set, availability, and departmental requirements.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced English educators, as well as individuals with strong subject expertise who are keen to progress into teaching within the Further Education sector.
Responsibilities
* Delivering Functional Skills English (Entry Level through to Level 2)
* Teaching GCSE English to learners resitting exams
* Supporting both younger learners and adult students
* Providing high‑quality, classroom‑based teaching and learner support
* Taking on short‑term, long‑term, or ongoing teaching commitments
* Appointments may be made on a permanent, fixed‑term, or flexible FE Bank basis depending on curriculum needs
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified English Lecturers or Tutors
* Educators with experience teaching Functional Skills and/or GCSE English
* Candidates seeking flexible employment, including full‑time, part‑time, temporary, or permanent arrangements
* A degree or relevant qualification in English or a related field
* A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to obtain one
* Previous experience delivering Functional Skills English and/or GCSE English
* A learner‑focused, inclusive teaching approach
