Job Description
The responsibilities for the Waste Disposal Technician with Regulated Waste Management Bio/Pharmaceutical include, but are not limited to:
* Packaging expired chemicals for shipment or disposal.
* Empties satellite containers into bulk containers and takes them back to the laboratory for reuse.
* Maintains the chemical storage area to keep it clutter-free and free of fire hazards.
* Ships hazardous waste from the laboratory prior to the RCRA time limit for the facility.
* Tracks the volume of waste generated for reporting to corporate and EPA.
* Prepares and tracks the implementation of the Waste Minimization Plan.
* Orders and maintains chemical inventory for the laboratory.
* Manages the consignment room to keep all laboratory areas supplied.
* Provides assistance to other departments/areas as needed.
* The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm, full-time, 40 hours per week. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA, are encouraged to apply.
* The employee would start as a Technician and be expected to complete RCRA and DOT/IATA training and certification, paid for by Eurofins, within the first 90 days.
* Upon completion of training and certification, contingent on good performance, the employee will receive a pay increase.
* Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
* Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
Minimum Qualifications
* High School Diploma or Equivalent.
* Authorization to work in the United States for any employer, indefinitely, without restriction or sponsorship.
* Ability to work in Lancaster, PA, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm.
* Ability to complete RCRA and DOT/IATA training and certification, paid for by Eurofins, within the first 90 days.

Additional Information
