*Job Role:*
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care that meets the emotional, social, and educational needs of our children. You will ensure that all safeguarding procedures are strictly followed, creating a safe and nurturing environment for our children. You will lead and inspire your team to achieve outstanding outcomes while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory obligations.
Responsibilities:
* To be a registered manager responsible for implementing and maintaining regulated activities.
* To ensure that services, support and care are provided person-centred, using person-centred approaches.
* To contribute to the overall development of the home and to ensure compliance with the aims and objectives of the company.
* Responsible for the care and safety of staff and children.
* Accountable for the day-to-day management by statutory regulations, policies and procedures of the Company.
* Finance management and budgeting
* Ensure robust training and development for employees
* The promotion of an environment conducive to a high standard of care in which children can thrive and create positive and lasting memories.
* Use a ‘Working Together’ approach to secure best practice
* To be responsible for recruiting staff within the facility in conjunction with the Responsible Individual and Board of Directors
* To ensure that all recruitment is in line with the Company policy on *‘SAFER RECRUITMENT.’*

Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children’s home.
* Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including safeguarding and child protection.
* Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of building and maintaining a motivated and high-performing team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
* Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent.
* Valid UK driving licence
*Salary:*
* £48,000 - £65,000 salary per annum (dependant on experience and qualifications).
* £2,500 signing bonus
* Up to £5,000 bonus based on inspection outcomes annually thereafter.
* Full-Time, based on 37.5 hours per week

* working as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager: 2 years (preferred)
