Morgan McKinley is working with an SME type business based in Brighton. They are looking for an Accounts Assistant who will carry out everyday transactional accounting, supporting with month-end, accruals, accounts payable invoicing, supplier setup and reconciliations.
Salary: 28-32K
Location: Brighton, East Sussex - hybrid working - 3 days office
Accounts Assistant duties:
* Processing invoices
* Preparing the monthly payment run for suppliers
* Bank account and credit card reconciliations
* Accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Supporting with month end and audits
* Balance sheet reconciliations
Skills and experience:
* Proven experience working in a similar Finance Assistant - Accounts Assistant role within an SME environment
* Excellent communication skills
* Good IT skills - MS Excel and accounting systems such as; Xero
