We are recruiting for a Workforce Planning Analyst, to support our ongoing focus on our future workforce plan and to produce, analyse and present the people data held within the organisation.
Alongside another Workforce Planning Analyst, you'll be supporting the management of a long-term workforce plan, making sure we've got the right people in the right places, and using data to back it all up. So if you love working with data and turning it into something meaningful, have the ability to spot trends and are able to use excel to an advanced level to enable this then this is the role for you.
This role will be based at Lincolnshire Police Headquarters in Nettleham and you will be working 18.5 hours a week which are to be covered Monday to Friday between 0700 and 1900 hours.
What you'll be doing:
Updating our four-year plan for our workforce with forecasted trends and information as it arises
Tracking how we're doing and adjusting the plan when needed
Analysing staff trends- who's joining, staying, or moving on
Helping plan for promotions and critical roles
Working closely with leaders to make sure our plans meet real needs
Keeping our HR data accurate and up to date
Producing reports for internal and national requirements
Essential Criteria
* Knowledge of workforce planning and best practice
* Collating, analysing, forecasting and presenting data
* Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
* Have meticulous attention to detail with excellent organisational and planning skills
* Strong influencing and negotiating skills
* Excellent communicator, demonstrating confidence in communicating with Senior Leaders
* Able to challenge and improve current practice in a constructive way
* Proven ability to build positive working relationships at all levels of an organisation, including Senior Leaders
* Ability to independently manage numerous priorities and conflicting demands
