Role Overview:
The Post Room Operative is responsible for the efficient handling, sorting, and distribution of all incoming and outgoing mail and parcels. This role ensures that post is processed accurately, promptly, and securely to support smooth day-to-day operations within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive, sort, and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail and parcels.
* Process tracked items, maintain basic delivery logs, and operate franking or postal equipment.
* Liaise with staff and couriers to resolve delivery queries and ensure timely dispatch.
* Keep the post room organised, stocked, and compliant with health and safety standards.
