Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client to join their team as a full time driver in Bedford.
Hours Of Work
* Tuesday - Saturday
* Sunday - Thursday
* Tramping available
* Varied start times
* Long term/ ongoing work
* Store deliveries
* Cages
Pay
* Days - £19.50per hour
* Weekends - £22.25 per hour
* £25 per night out
* All rates include holiday pay
Duties/Responsibilities
* Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures
* Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures
* To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner
* To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift
Essential Skills
* Good communication skills.
* Good customer relations.
* Have a safe driving record.
* Hold a valid HGV 1 / Cat CE licence.
* No more than 6 minor penalty points.
* No DRs, INs or DDs offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
* Driver qualification (CPC) card.
* Digital tacho card.
