We are currently looking to recruit drivers for immediate start.
Taking on recently passed drivers
Very little manual work is required
We can accept ONLY PAYE .
No more than 6 points and 2-year checkable driving history is required.
Minimum of 6 months UK driving time is required.
HGV Driver Benefits
Driver is not required to assist with any unloading/loading.
Driving only from depot centre to depot centre
Traction work only- drop/swap trailers. On average 3-4 swaps per shift, working with boxed trailers and occasionally curtain side trailers

HGV Driver Requirements
Hold a valid commercial Driving License with the Correct Categories C+E
Have a Professional Driving Qualification called the Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence
Hold a Digital Tachograph / Smart Card
Pass a background check (below) to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law
Pass a standard drug and alcohol test (below) to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law
Have a maximum of 6 penalty points in the Driver's License (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements)
Approved drivers consist of drivers with background check results as "Meets Requirements" and drug and alcohol tests with negative results.
HGV Driver Responsibilities
Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver trailers to sites
Interact with stakeholders in a professional manner
Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of any issues
Maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries

Average shift length 8 - 10 hours
