Role Overview:
As the Value Assurance Team Leader, you will oversee the evaluation and approval of electronic components, ensuring compliance with technical standards and supporting product integrity across R&D and manufacturing. You will lead fault analysis, mentor team members, and collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Lead component testing and approval processes in line with company procedures.
 * Conduct fault finding and minor circuit redesigns to resolve technical issues.
 * Collaborate with suppliers for failure analysis and alternative component validation.
 * Provide technical support to purchasing and subcontract manufacturing teams.
 * Ensure robust documentation and change control through waivers and change requests.
 * Mentor junior engineers and deputize as needed within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
 * Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electronics or a comparable industry.
 * HNC or degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
 * Strong understanding of analogue circuits and component behaviour.
 * Proficiency with lab equipment, ERP, and PLM systems (training provided).
 * High level of computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.
