The Purpose
The Academy Assistant Performance Analyst position is designed to support the development of players and coaches by providing high-quality performance analysis across all academy age groups.
The Role
* Film training sessions and matches across multiple sites and age groups
* Code and analyse training and match footage using provided mark-ups
* Upload and manage footage on both internal servers and online platforms
* Maintain an organised archive of completed work
* Assist in identifying opposition and tactical trends
* Provide ad-hoc support to full-time performance analysis staff
* Commit to working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional long shifts, in line with the demands of the role
The Person
* Demonstrates a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence
* Takes pride in delivering high-quality, accurate work with attention to detail
* Possesses a solid understanding of football, both technically and tactically
* Confident using performance analysis software such as Angles, Final Cut, Hudl, and Keynote
* Quick to learn and eager to develop new skills
* Proactive and able to work independently while following academy standards and policies
* Flexible and available to work during evenings, weekends, and unsociable hours
