The Role:

We're working with a stunning boutique hotel nestled in the heart of the New Forest, known for its exceptional cuisine and breathtaking views. The hotel offers a unique dining experience with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and a menu that changes with the seasons.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and driven chef to step into a Junior Sous Chef role, supporting the Head and Sous Chefs in delivering high-quality dishes and leading the kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, including lunch and dinner service
* Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety
* Assisting in menu development and food preparation
* Leading and mentoring junior kitchen staff
* Ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous in a quality kitchen (ideally 4-star or boutique hotel)
* Strong knowledge of fresh cooking and seasonal ingredients
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Professional Cookery
* A genuine passion for food and hospitality
* A proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a desire to grow
