LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a local authority based in Greater Manchester. They are seeking a prosecutions locum lawyer for an initial 3-month contract with potential to extend. Please note this is a full-time role and will require hybrid attendance in Greater Manchester. You will handle a caseload of prosecution and enforcement matters including anti-social behaviour litigation, licensing, and a range of other general litigation matters from initial instruction through to advocacy at court. To apply you will be: An England and Wales qualified solicitor, barrister or chartered legal executive with minimum 3 years’ PQE Able to demonstrate previous experience of handling criminal litigation/enforcement matters within a local government environment and be able to conduct advocacy in court when required Able to attend the office and/or court in Greater Manchester on a hybrid basis Available on no more than a 4-week notice period The salary for this role is £45-£65/hour umbrella.
