Job Overview
Experienced administrator needed to support Primary Care, Community & Therapies Clinical Group providing inpatient, outpatient and community therapy and nursing. Provide efficient administrative service, produce clinical correspondence, manage diaries, referrals, centralised automated appointment system, within a paperless environment.
Main Duties
* Learn and use patient administration systems.
* Participate in shift pattern (08:00‑16:00, 09:00‑17:00, or 10:00‑18:00) on rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays.
* Typing correspondence, managing clinical diaries, referral management as per guidelines.
* Provide full centralised automated appointment system support.
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous administrative experience, ideally in health care.
* Recent experience using various administrative procedures.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Database).
* NHS experience within an Administration Department.
* Basic level of education including English and Maths or diploma level work experience.
* Audio typing experience/qualification (e.g., RSA Level 2).
Key Skills
* GCE/GCSE English & Maths Grade C or equivalent.
* Excellent communication skills with patients, colleagues, and referring agents.
* Ability to prioritise work and work under pressure with conflicting demands.
* Teamworking ability.
