Teaching Assistant – Willenhall Area

Key Details:
* Position: Teaching Assistant
* Location: Willenhall and surrounding areas
* Contract Type: Full-time or Part-time (flexible)
* Salary: Competitive, based on experience and responsibilities
Role Responsibilities:
* Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging classroom activities
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to students, including those with SEN
* Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment
* Prepare and organise learning resources and classroom materials
* Support students in their social and emotional development
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and parents when needed
Role Requirements:
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
* Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is highly desirable
* Confidence in leading small groups and supporting individual learners
* Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain a positive classroom environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping pupils thrive
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
