Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: JOSHUA'S CONVENIENCE STORE We are hoping to train the successful candidates on as many aspects of the business that they wish to learn, i.e. ordering, dealing with representatives etc. Following age restriction polices for sale of age restricted products. Serving customers using electronic till system, processing PayPoint transactions and lottery sales. May include lifting of heaving products i.e. bags of coal, cases of coca cola, gas cylinders, etc.
Responsibilities
* Following age restriction polices.
* Completing required health and safety, hygiene records and maintaining them.
* Ensuring payments etc are processed correctly.
* Receiving deliveries, stock rotation and management.
* Working a part of a team.
* Assisting customers with queries.
* General housekeeping.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Basic numeracy skills to count money etc.
* Good communication.
* Computer literate.
* Capable of meeting the physical demands of the job, to lift up to 25kg items.
Desirable Skills
* Fully flexible regarding hours of work, so they can learn day-time and evening duties.
* Flexible approach to work, to learn all aspects of the business.

Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
