Head Pastry Chef – £50,000 to £60,000 Service & Benefits Luxury 5-Star Country Estate | Permanent, Full-Time | Commutable from North/West London & Hertfordshire We’re recruiting a talented Head Pastry Chef to join a world-class pastry operation at one of the UK’s leading five-star properties. This is a hands-on leadership role within a large, fast-paced kitchen, working closely with the Executive Head Pastry Chef to deliver exceptional quality across multiple dining outlets and event spaces. Key Responsibilities: Lead the day-to-day pastry operations across restaurants, afternoon tea, events, and banqueting Develop and execute seasonal menus, desserts, and showpieces using the finest ingredients Train, inspire and mentor a team of pastry chefs and junior team members Maintain high standards of presentation, consistency, and quality control Oversee stock management, ordering, and cost control Ensure hygiene and health & safety standards are upheld at all times Collaborate with senior chefs on product development and innovation Contribute to a positive, supportive kitchen culture About You: Proven experience as Head or Senior Pastry Chef in a luxury hotel, members’ club, or high-end restaurant Strong classical pastry background with a creative and modern edge Calm and confident leading a large team under pressure Excellent communication, organisation, and mentoring skills Experience delivering high-volume service without compromising on quality What’s On Offer: £50,000–£60,000 per annum, depending on experience Additional service charge Access to luxury on-site facilities (spa, gym, golf course) Free staff meals and subsidised shuttle transport Generous staff discounts for family & friends across the estate Ongoing training and development within a supportive, family-owned environment A superb opportunity to join a forward-thinking culinary team at a destination property known for quality, creativity, and scale.
