Ysgol Hen Felin is a highly regarded, sector leading special school which caters for pupils with severe learning difficulties, Profound and Multiple learning difficulties, and pupils on the autistic spectrum. Since 2025, the school has been situated over three sites. The main site is located at Ystrad Rhondda with satellite provisions based in Tonyrefail and the local college. There will be a requirement to work across all sites as part of this role.
The Governing Body is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, proactive, and highly motivated individual to join our established and successful team as Community Partnerships Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to build on the school's strong community links and further develop meaningful partnerships that enrich the experiences and opportunities available to our pupils.
The successful candidate will be passionate about inclusion and committed to ensuring that every pupil, regardless of their disability, has access to ambitious, creative, and engaging educational opportunities. They will have a strong understanding of the importance of community engagement and be skilled in developing partnerships that support pupils' learning, wellbeing, independence, and future aspirations.
Experience of working with pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) is essential.
