We are keen to appoint someone who is caring, flexible, conscientious and experienced in good behaviour management. Lunchtime is an important part of the school day and we are looking for staff to provide high quality play experience for all our children. To be successful in this role, we are looking for applicants to meet the below essential and desirable criteria: Essential Criteria Experience & Skills Ability to work effectively with children in a school setting. Good communication skills with both children and adults. Ability to manage groups of children and maintain order during lunchtime Personal Qualities Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude towards children. Reliability and punctuality. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle minor incidents confidently. Knowledge Awareness of safeguarding and child protection principles. Basic understanding of health and safety in a school environment. Desirable Criteria Previous experience working with children (e.g., in a school, nursery, or youth setting). First Aid training or willingness to undertake training. Knowledge of positive behaviour management strategies. Other Requirements Commitment to promoting equality and inclusion. Willingness to undertake relevant training (e.g., safeguarding, first aid). Applicants should be able to work as part of a team and ideally have some experience of working with children.
