PMLD Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PMLD Support Assistant to join a specialist SEN provision on a temporary-to-permanent basis through an agency placement. This role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with PMLD. Assist with personal care and mobility needs where required. Support learning activities, therapy sessions, and communication development. Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and other professionals. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. Requirements: Previous experience working with PMLD, complex needs, or SEN. Patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach. Ability to follow individual learning and care plans. Willingness to undertake relevant training (e.g., safeguarding, moving & handling). Contract: Agency placement with the potential for a permanent role. Full-time, term-time only. Competitive pay rates based on experience and qualifications.
