Role Overview:
Our education agency is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a well-established primary school in Slough. This full-time position involves delivering high-quality teaching to children in Years 1 and 2. Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 National Curriculum.
* Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
* Assess, monitor, and track pupils’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Differentiate teaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively and consistently.
* Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and carers to support children’s learning and welfare.
* Participate in school meetings, professional development, and activities as required.
* Ensure adherence to safeguarding policies and promote pupil well-being.
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential.
* Proven experience teaching KS1 children (Years 1 and 2).
* Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment methods.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* Ability to differentiate lessons to meet varied learning needs.
* Reliable, flexible, and committed to professional standards.
* Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo one).
