Your responsibilities:
* Support day-to-day kitchen operations alongside the Head Chef
* Take charge of service across both restaurant and bistro settings
* Lead and develop junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team atmosphere
* Maintain high culinary standards and consistency during busy shifts
* Ensure hygiene, safety, and food compliance procedures are followed
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and cost management
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous ready to step up
* Comfortable in both fine dining and casual dining environments
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Knowledge of health & safety and food hygiene regulations
* Relevant culinary qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent preferred)
* Someone with a positive, respectful attitude – team culture is a top priority here
