Building Surveyor

We are actively recruiting for a Building Surveyor who is looking to develop their career, working on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK. This role will be based at our London office. Subject to business requirements the role may be eligible for hybrid working.
As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting and/or delivering building surveying services, providing technical expertise, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, while ensuring compliance within all relevant design standards and regulations.
Key Areas Of Responsibilities
* Conduct building condition surveys and produce clear, insightful reports for clients.
* Prepare tender documentation – drawings, specifications, and schedules of work.
* Assist with tender submissions, contractor analysis, and draft or raise JCT construction contracts.
* Participate in and organise pre‑contract briefings and ensure smooth project handovers with the team.
* Carry out regular site inspections to monitor quality, progress, and health & safety compliance.
* Input and manage fee projections for financial profiling across various projects.
* Attend client and project meetings, representing the business with professionalism and technical confidence.
* Travel to sites and client locations as required.
Requirements
* A relevant degree or strong working experience.
* Experience working with AutoCAD.
* Working towards or hoping to achieve RICS Chartership.
* MRICS Chartered.
This role requires a full clean driving licence with access to your own vehicle, and will be subject to a DBS Enhanced check.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
