Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales / Commercial Executive to manage key customer accounts, negotiate pricing, and support the continued growth of our wholesale food and beverage business. The role will focus on developing long-term client relationships, analysing sales performance, and driving new business opportunities within the restaurant and takeaway sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the foodservice and wholesale markets.
* Negotiate pricing, discounts, and contracts in line with company policy and profitability goals.
* Monitor and analyse sales performance, trends, and customer purchasing behaviour to guide strategic decisions.
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing, stock availability, and timely deliveries.
* Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to management.
* Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and customer meetings to promote products and strengthen business relationships.
* Support the digital sales process by providing input into online order systems and customer platforms.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or commercial roles, ideally within the wholesale, foodservice, or FMCG sectors.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to analyse data and sales reports to drive decision-making.
* Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM systems, and general business communication tools.
* Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Desirable Skills
* Knowledge of the UK restaurant and takeaway supply market.
* Experience working with pricing structures and profit margin analysis.
* Familiarity with digital ordering platforms and e-commerce tools.
