Non-Comp: Monday - Friday £13.00 – Saturday- Sunday £13.50/hour
Comp: Monday-Friday £13.75 – Saturday - Sunday £14.25/hour
Shift Patterns:
Days: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM
Nights (Waking): 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM
Includes weekends and bank holidays

We are looking for a skilled, dedicated, and caring Health and Care Support Worker to work with our Client and her home in Buxton (SK17).
Client:
Our client is a young lady aged 19 years old who has a learning disability and requires help with her physical health needs and daily living activities 24 hours per day. She is a typical 19 year old lady who loves to take pride in her appearance and likes to dress in a stylish way which keeps her on-trend with the latest fashions. Just like most 19 years old ladies, our client loves to go out into the community; shopping is one of her favourite past-times together with her love of animals. She has a dog, so the ideal candidate needs to be an animal lover for sure.
It is important that applicants have calm disposition coupled with good interpersonal skills to enable strong communication. Our client has limited verbal skills and uses Makaton to support her communication needs.
To apply for this role you must hold a valid UK driving licence to support our client with outings and enable access to the community.

Desirable Experience
* Previous care experience
* Care Certificate and or relevant Social Care Qualifications
* Experience in Learning Disabilities
* Experience or awareness of/willingness to learn Makaton.
* Experience or awareness of how to care for someone who lives with Epilepsy/seizures.
* Experience of caring for someone with scoliosis.
We have the following shifts:
* Night Shifts pm to 07.30am
* Day Shifts am to 07.30pm
* Attractive overtime pay rates available.
* We do NOT pay mileage for commuting to and from this client.
