FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Assistant Buyer based in Perth on a Permanent, Full Time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a purchasing environment to support the procurement function, ensuring materials and services are sourced efficiently, compliantly and cost-effectively. Main duties include: Supporting Buyers with sourcing materials, plant, tools and equipment Obtaining supplier quotations and maintaining pricing information Raising and processing purchase orders and procurement documentation Maintaining supplier and subcontractor records Monitoring deliveries, lead times and order status Assisting with invoice checks and tender documentation Supporting procurement reporting and compliance activities Suitable candidates should have the following: Previous experience in a purchasing/procurement environment (Construction sector preferred) Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office Full UK Driving License CSCS card for site visits (Desirable) Candidates should be based locally to Perth, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
