Due to growth within the HR function we are currently recruiting for a Part Time Senior HR Advisor to join their team – this role can be flexible around you with regards to days/hours etc. working a 20/25 hour week.
The Role
As Senior HR Advisor, you’ll act as a trusted partner to line managers, supporting them across the full range of employee relations and HR activity. This is a busy, operational role where no two days are the same — perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, coaching managers, and balancing commercial realities with best practice.
You’ll be a visible HR presence on site, working closely with operational leaders and employees to support performance, engagement, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing expert advice to managers on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance, and capability
* Managing complex ER cases end-to-end, ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes
* Supporting investigations, hearings, and appeals
* Coaching and developing line managers to build confidence in people management
* Advising on HR policies, employment law, and best practice within a manufacturing environment
* Supporting change initiatives, restructures, and consultations where required
* Using HR data to identify trends and support continuous improvement
About You
You’ll be an experienced HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor who is comfortable operating in a manufacturing, engineering, logistics, or similarly operational environment. xsngvjr
You’ll ideally have:
* Strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law
* Proven experience handling complex employee relations cases independently
* Confidence working with managers at all levels, including shop-floor leaders
* A practical, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to challenge constructively
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Desirable:
* Experience in a unionised environment
* CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience)
* Experience supporting change and consultation processes

This role will primarily be based at the Hinckley site but will support a second, local site also.
