Job description
As part of an ongoing drive to ensure learners receive outstanding GCSE and Functional Skills English provision, Solihull College and University Centre is seeking an hourly paid teacher to deliver English at out Stratford-Upon-Avon Campus.
The successful candidate will join a specialist team focusing upon providing consistently excellent English teaching and learning opportunities to learners of all ages.
We are looking for someone who will work alongside the English Team in:
* Providing innovative, outstanding, and engaging teaching, learning and assessment.
* Ensuring progress for all learners from their starting points, using high quality assessmentand feedbackrecognising and responding to the demands of delivering English to learners who may have been disengaged with education for a number of years
You will be joining a friendly and collaborative team in a college environment and culture that is caring, respectful and inspiring. You must hold a Level 3 qualification in English or higher and ideally possess a Level 5 teaching qualification (or higher) or be prepared to work towards a relevant qualification.
