Our client requires a Pumps Specialist will report to the Senior Manager – Commodity Equipment. The key responsibilities are: Technical leader with domain knowledge and experience for the role scope, leading delivery of the design solution and its integration into the wider power station. Lead Integration with cross functional stakeholders (e.g. supply chain, programme management, commercial, manufacturing, verification). Accountable for the quality of their team’s outputs, ensuring appropriate governance and assurance is adopted in line with business processes. Develop and manage robust cross-functional product development and delivery programmes for the team, including accountability for assigned budget and delivery performance for all activities. Accountable for the management of a team, in line with the demands of the Senior Manager. They will lead Engineers and Senior Engineers, dependent on the specific roles demanded. The role has a strong strategic element – playing an active part in setting the teams’ approaches, looking 1-2 steps ahead to make sure the team is prepared for the future.
