Overview
A strong opportunity to join a busy, project-led organisation delivering refurbishment and retail fit-out projects across the UK. You’ll take full ownership of assigned projects and client accounts, ensuring safe, efficient delivery from initial survey through to completion. This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in retail fit-out, shopfitting, or wider construction who is confident managing contractors, coordinating resources, and working directly with customers.

Location
West Midlands based, with regular UK travel. Commutable from Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Walsall, Stourbridge, West Bromwich and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities

Manage projects from survey to handover, ensuring delivery on time, to scope and budget.

Attend sites, define project requirements and plan works effectively.
*
Supervise and coordinate contractors, ensuring safe and efficient site operations.
*
Communicate clearly with customers, subcontractors and internal teams throughout each project.
*
Track progress, manage risks, control costs and oversee documentation.
*
Build strong working relationships with suppliers, vendors and stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
*
Proven experience in retail fit-out, shopfitting, construction or similar project-led environments (retail sector experience strongly preferred).
*
Strong understanding of the full project delivery process, from design and manufacture through to installation.
*
Demonstrable experience managing clients and stakeholders directly, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
*
Familiarity with EPICORE is an advantage, but not essential.
*
Strong planning, communication, commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.
*
Flexibility for UK travel and occasional out-of-hours work.
Qualifications
*
SMSTS qualification desirable.
*
CSCS Manager Black Card preferred.
*
