The Sales Trainer - Global plays a central role in this by delivering engaging, practical, and impactful learning experiences that improve how sellers execute throughout the buyer journey in a problem-based sales environment. The Sales Trainer - Global is primarily responsible for facilitating high-quality sales training across global regions, providing live coaching, running skills practice sessions, reinforcing methodology, and helping sellers adopt consistent behaviors that drive measurable performance improvement. While content creation may be required, this role partners closely with the Learning Experience Designer, who leads the design and development of formal training materials, resources, and digital learning assets. The Sales Trainer is responsible for ensuring these solutions are effectively brought to life through outstanding independent delivery and expert facilitation across the global sales organization. Core areas of impact include: Live delivery of sales skills workshops (virtual and in-person) Facilitation of methodology, process, and competency-based training Coaching, feedback, and reinforcement sessions Roleplays, simulations, and practice labs Regional onboarding and continuous learning Global consistency in training delivery and messaging The successful candidate will be a confident facilitator, an engaging communicator, and a highly organized professional capable of enabling sales teams globally through consistent, high-impact training delivery. Responsibilities: Deliver engaging, high-quality sales training sessions across global regions, including virtual workshops, in-person sessions, roleplays, and practice labs. Facilitate training on sales methodology, problem-based selling, objection handling, opportunity management, and other core sales competencies & skills. Lead live coaching development sessions that help sales managers coach their teams in the application of sales skills in real scenarios and reinforce consistent sales behaviours. Conduct structured roleplays and simulations to build seller confidence and capability. Support the global onboarding program by facilitating scheduled core sessions and working with the sales enablement team to ensure new hires understand processes, tools, and expectations. Collaborate closely with the Learning Experience Designer to: Provide field insights and feedback that inform training design. Pilot new training materials and validate effectiveness. Align delivery with instructional design standards and learning objectives. Adapt delivery for different roles, levels of experience, cultures, and regional requirements while maintaining global consistency. Partner with the Sales Enablement Manager to identify skill gaps, performance trends, and training needs. Maintain a regular cadence of training reinforcement activities (office hours, practice groups, coaching clinics, Q&A sessions). Work with the Sales Enablement Team to Track participation, engagement, and behavioural adoption using defined KPIs and report on training effectiveness. Support sales events such as SKO, regional kickoffs, onboarding weeks, and specialised training sprints. Manage scheduling, communications, and logistics for global training programmes. Travel for in-person workshops or regional training initiatives.
