Accounts Assistant | Haydock| Office Based | £30,000We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Finance Manager with various accounting activities and administrative tasks.Responsibilities:
* Process invoices, expense requests, and supplier payment
* Maintain cash books and reconcile company accounts
* Manage purchase and sales ledgers
* Assist with credit control and chase late payments
* Prepare and raise sales invoices
* Liaise with third-party providers, clients, and suppliers
* Perform basic administration tasks
* Update and maintain procedural documentation
* Assist with documentation management for importation suppliers
* Monthly payroll processing
Requirements:
* Preferably enrolled in CIMA or ACCA studies, or completed AAT
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
* Flexibility, confidentiality, and professionalism
* Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
* Confident telephone manner and problem-solving skill
* Experience with Sage 200 is preferable
* Manufacturing and Engineering industry experience
