Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing Barnsley based manufacturing business in their search for a Group Assistant Accountant. With recent growth across all areas of the group, the business is now looking for an experienced and diligent professional to join the business.
The Group Assistant Accountant will sit within the centre of group finance supporting the Finance Director with monthly management accounts and providing financial insight to non-finance departments. This is a hands-on and collaborative role, playing a key part in intercompany processes, group reporting and driving accuracy and consistency across multiple entities within the business.
This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive and cooperative accountant, experienced in an SME environment looking to be part of an established business enjoying consistent growth.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
* Partner with stakeholders across the business to deliver meaningful financial insight.
* Support the Finance Director with group-wide reporting and analysis.
* Produce monthly management accounts with clear variance analysis.
* Drive improvement in financial processes.
* Support intercompany accounting.
* Support the day to day finance function.
Who you are:
* Part Qualified, Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
* SME background
